Graduated in Law from the University of Naples on 9 December 1987

- Awarded academic funding to participate in the international Comparative Employment Law Conference “Pontignano 6”, on “Legal forms of conflict” (so-called “Forme giuridiche del conflitto”), held in Siena, Certosa di Pontignano, from 5 to 10 September 1988;

- Awarded academic funding to participate in the international Comparative Employment Law Conference  on  “Les discriminations sexistes dans le contexte général de l’égalité et de la non discrimination” held at NiederpÖcking (Germany) from 10 to 13 July1989;

- Awarded academic funding to participate in the Comparative Union Law Seminar, led by Prof. Antoine Lyon Caen, at the University of Paris X, Nanterre, from 11 to 29 June 1990;

Researcher in Employment Law, since 27 October 1995, final thesis entitled “intercompany worker redundancy” (so-called "La mobilità interaziendale dei lavoratori"), at the Univsersity of Bari;

Awarded a post-graduate scholarship on 8 June 1998 from Università of Naples "Federico II";
