Misty Skaggs will be reading from her poetry, Prescription Panes, in the Appalshop Theater, Tuesday, September 25 at 7:00 p.m. A reception to follow.  Misty & her mother Bonita Skaggs-Parsons confront prescription drug abuse with a combination of visual art and poetry.  Their exhibit, “Prescription Panes,” is currently on display here in the Appalshop Gallery at 91 Madison St. in Whitesburg, Ky.
