Italian Zeolite Association (AIZ onlus)
The Association, founded in 1991, promotes study, research, diffusion of knowledge in all aspects of zeolite science and technology in Italy. The term zeolite includes all materials whose properties and/or structure could be related to those of conventional zeolites.
In order to achieve these objectives the Association performs various activities:
- organizes, at least each two years, a Congress on Science and Technology of Zeolites, open to the contribution of the members of the Association and of all peoples interested in. AIZ provides for the publication of the Congress Proceedings;
- promotes and supports the organization of scientific meetings such as conferences, seminars, round tables or educational meetings such as schools, continuing education with reference to the AIZ purposes;
- funds graduate thesis, research award and fellowship to young researchers in order to promote the diffusion of zeolite culture;
- favours the role of State, University, Research centers, Industry to develop research on zeolites;
- promotes scientific relashionship with similar national and international associations.
