L'Evento sportivo che lancia ufficialmente i Giochi Europei Universitari #Salerno2026
Dal 1° al 5 agosto al campus di Fisciano si terrà l’edizione 2025 dell’European Universities 3x3 Basketball Championship, EUC 3x3!
La Cerimonia di apertura - che si terrà venerdì 1° agosto a partire dalle ore 18.00 in Aula Magna "V.Buonocore" al campus di Fisciano - sarà introdotta dai saluti e dagli interventi di:
Vincenzo LOIA - Rettore Università degli Studi di Salerno
Lorenzo LENTINI - Presidente CUS Salerno
Adam ROCZEK - Presidente EUSA
Fulvio BONAVITACOLA - Vicepresidente Regione Campania.
L’evento - con la regia di EUSA-European University Sports Association - è organizzato dall'Università degli Studi di Salerno, dal Cus Salerno e dall’Adisurc (Azienda per il diritto allo studio della Regione Campania), con il contributo della Regione Campania e il supporto della FederCUSI e della FISEUC 3X3 porterà in città 250 tra atleti e tecnici, 44 squadre provenienti da 17 nazioni europee e 33 università, per 130 gare ufficiali, con un fitto programma di attività culturali e di intrattenimento pensate per coinvolgere pubblico e territorio.
Durante le cinque giornate, infatti, oltre alle partite del torneo internazionale, il Campus di Fisciano e la città di Salerno offriranno appuntamenti speciali: dal cerimoniale di apertura con ospiti istituzionali e spettacoli in piazza, alle giornate tematiche dedicate alla presentazione delle eccellenze gastronomiche italiane, fino agli eventi serali con musica dal vivo e alla cerimonia di chiusura con le premiazioni.
Per le delegazioni sportive sono inoltre previste esperienze esclusive, tra cui un transfer dedicato per partecipare alla celebre “Notte delle Lampare” a Cetara con cena riservata sul porto e la possibilità di scoprire le bellezze del territorio circostante, a partire dalla Costiera Amalfitana, Patrimonio UNESCO.
Il Campionato EUC 3x3 sarà il “test event” ufficiale dei Giochi Universitari Europei (EUG 2026), la grande manifestazione sportiva multidisciplina che si terrà esattamente tra un anno a Salerno per la sua VIII Edizione: il countdown è partito e si respira già l'atmosfera di sport e passione!

EUG - European Universities Games Salerno 2026
From 1 to 5 August the 2025 edition of the European Universities 3x3 Basketball Championship (EUC 3x3) will be held at the Fisciano Campus!
The event - directed by EUSA-European University Sports Association - is organized by the University of Salerno, Cus Salerno and Adisurc (Company for the right to education of the Campania Region), with the contribution of the Campania Region and the support of FederCUSI and FISU.
EUC 3X3 will bring 250 athletes and technicians to the city, 44 teams from 17 European nations and 33 universities, for 130 official competitions, with a full program of cultural and entertainment activities designed to involve the public and the local area. During the five days, in fact, in addition to the matches of the international tournament, the Fisciano Campus and the city of Salerno will offer special events: from the opening ceremony with institutional guests and shows in the square, to thematic days dedicated to the presentation of Italian gastronomic excellence, up to the evening events with live music and the closing ceremony with the awards.
Exclusive experiences are also planned for sports delegations, including a dedicated transfer to participate in the famous "Night of Lampare" in Cetara with a reserved dinner on the port and the possibility of discovering the beauty of the surrounding area, starting from the Amalfi Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The EUC 3x3 Championship will be the official "test event" of the European University Games (EUG 2026), the great multidisciplinary sporting event which will be held in exactly one year in Salerno for its 8th Edition: the countdown has started and you can already feel the atmosphere of sport and passion!
